In his weekly commentary on ‘Rádio Estádio’, former Sporting CP President Bruno de Carvalho said he was willing to return without receiving any salary until the team become Liga champions.
“I am humbly offering myself to the club I love. I don’t want anything, just helping and doing what I know how to do. I love Sporting to death,” he said.
“I am willing to lead Sporting’s SAD immediately, even with Varandas in the club. I don’t want a salary, I don’t want a car, nor cards. I don’t want anything from Sporting. I just want to receive it on the day that Sporting is the domestic champion,” he said.
The former President explained that he is available to take the leadership of SAD immediately, even with Frederico Varandas remaining as president of the club.
“I don’t care if I got kicked out or not. I don’t want anything! I can no longer see this destruction, this authentic civil war. I love this club very much and I can’t keep pretending that I am unaware of everything that is going on. I love Sporting and I can’t get rid of this feeling. I can’t!”
He later added.
“I don’t want anything from Sporting. Never did. I offer myself. The current financial officer (Salgado Zenha) may even be my right hand. I don’t want to receive anything, zero! I will take care of the other sports, too. I wouldn’t swallow frogs, but crocodiles. But, for the love I have for Sporting, I’m available.”
